Nebraska is going to be really good over the next few years

Think about what you just saw today. DR has absolutely everything physically & mentally that he needs to eventually be an all-conference QB. We saw that today.

Now think about his maturity, and his love for the game. Do you think he’s not going to improve massively over the years, from what is already a really good QB? He’s an amazing talent, who also has drive, smarts, humility, great teammate, work ethic, dude has it all.

I’d bet a whole lot of money that he devotes himself to being great, and then achieves greatness.

Now look around at all these really impressive young guys: Barney, Carter Nelson, Vincent Shavers Jr., McGahee, Keona Davis, Hoffken, Keelan Smith, Cam Lenhardt, Maverick Noonan, Ismael Smith-Flores, Princewill, and I’m forgetting some. These guys are DUDES!

Rhule can clearly identify talent, recruit it, and develop it. We’ve seen that over his 3 college head-coaching jobs. They have some really good up-and-coming players, and they’re bringing more in. Think about the depth you saw today; quality players on 2nd and 3rd team, and who knew what they were doing. I haven’t seen that on a Nebraska team in a really long time.

There is buy-in, cohesiveness, talent, NIL money, momentum and buzz, unity, new facilities. They have every ingredient needed to be great in the coming years.
