Nebraska Football’s Dylan Raiola Gets Last Laugh on Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders

The Nebraska Cornhuskers took on the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night in a primetime game as the 6:30 p.m. CDT kickoff concluded later in the night. Nebraska stood tall in Lincoln after a great start to the game and a great defensive showcase.

Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola shined. In a showdown with potential first-round draft pick Shedeur Sanders, Raiola came on top, completing 23-of-30 passes for 185 yards. Raiola also had a touchdown pass to Rahmir Johnson, not throwing an interception in the process. Sanders was 23-of-38 passing for 244 yards, throwing a late touchdown but also telegraphing a pick six to Husker defensive back Tommi Hill.

After the game, Raiola, along with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan from “Bussin’ With The Boys’, posed for a picture while doing the signature celebration of Sanders: flashing a watch.

In case you didn’t know, Sanders’ go-to celebration was flashing his Rolex watch to players and fans of the opposing team. He even released his own song titled “Perfect Timing”, which is a reference to his watch.

In the only meeting between the pair as collegiate quarterbacks, Raiola got the win on and off the field.
