Nebraska Football related prayers or eulogies

My father passed away recently. He was a lifelong Nebraska football fan; he would talk about watching Big 8 football games with the family on Thanksgiving. During bowl games in the 90’s my mom would leave the house with my sisters so he could ride that emotional roller coaster to his heart’s content. She thought I was old enough to stay at home during the 1995 Orange Bowl and I recall a lot of yelling at the TV and angry pacing until the very end. He followed the team for most of his life and even sent money to support NIL efforts.

I am trying to write an obituary that can give a brief testimony to the tense and rocky relationship he had with the football program. My father had a dry and smartass sense of humor. If anyone out there can provide some inspiration I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
