Preview:

Let me just start this preview off with this little caveat, if this isn’t the dumbest thing you read all week, I’d sure as hell would love to know what beats it. I thought “what the hell” and decided to keep the weekly previews going, even though this one is completely unnecessary. Hopefully the names I included for this fake university, including “team name” and “players” will make you groan due to the dad nature of it all, but if you don’t feel like punching me afterwards, then I’ll take the win.

The “Open Dates” of Noah Buddy U will travel to Lincoln this weekend to do absolutely nothing against the Huskers. Of course, Nebraska hasn’t done much against NBU in previous meetings either, despite not officially playing each other. This is the first time this season that these two will meet, with the other meeting in the “home and home” matchup on November 9th.

Noah Buddy U has a particularly good offense, and one the Huskers will need to be ready for. Led by star quarterback Ayr E. Tout, the passing game has been phenomenal throughout the season. Running back Jimmy “Bull” Dozer has been able to plow his way through defenses with ease. His hard-nosed running style leads to plenty of yards after contact. The leading receiver on the team is I. M. Open (salute to Husker great I. M. Hipp). His vertical threat has worried secondaries all season long.

Defensively, the Open Dates of Noah Buddy U is led by All-American defensive tackle Phil A Gap. He commands a double team anytime an opponent tries to run the football. Considering the Huskers have struggled with the run game this season, this will be an interesting matchup on the interior. Passing against this team is a bit of a challenge, particularly if you throw at corner Enterre Ceptor. Raiola will have to keep the ball away from him as much as possible.

Enjoy the bye week ladies and gentlemen, take the time to watch some football that stresses other people out for a change. Root against enemies current and old, for we shall hate them always. See you next week. Go Big Red!
