Nebraska Football: Huskers Receive 2025 Commit from an All-Purpose Athlete in Jeremiah Jones News Matt Rhule


Apparently the Nebraska is hoping their new commit can excel at safety. That is not something you hear a lot about an athlete who has a 6’6” and 200 pound frame in which to build upon. That usually sounds like a future outside linebacker or tight end.

That is what Nebraska is hoping they get from Jeremiah Jones out of Murray, Kentucky.

It sounds like he was a jack of all trades type of player at his high school. They used him all around the field at positions on both defense and offense.

This 2025 class might be one of the smallest in the country so they have been relatively selective which shows you how much they like Jones. He is the 14th member of the class and it is looking right now that the total class number could be 20 or less.

He is currently a three star athlete that has gone under the radar. Before committing to Nebraska Jones started getting some interest from some schools like Florida State and Louisville.
