Nebraska Football: Huskers Add Former LSU 4-Star Tight End to Current Roster Huskers News Mac Markway

Down goes the SEC!

It appears that former LSU tight end Mac Markway, who decided he no longer wanted to live in Baton Rouge and attend LSU, has transferred and is currently enrolled at Nebraska.

According to Steve Wiltfong of On3.com, he has not practiced as of yet but is looking like he will be practicing today.

As of this writing he is not on the Huskers.com roster. You know that it’s OFFICIAL official when that actually happens.

It is obvious, that he will be ready to take on UTEP this coming Saturday.

Or not.

It will be interesting to see how long it may take before he is able to contribute on the field in 2024. Maybe it will not happen and the Huskers will be able to use a redshirt year by playing him less than four games. There may be some questions about eligibility.

Before going to LSU he was anywhere between the 9th ranked tight end or the 15th ranked tight end in the country. He played in 12 games for LSU and started one.
