Nebraska Basketball: Huskers 104 UTSA 94

It took all game but the Huskers pull off the win

The University of Texas – San Antonio came into this game with a good offense and it showed on this cold December night. It took most of the game but Nebraska did pull off the win 104-94. The first time in 12 years that the big red had a triple digit game.

Yes, it’s been over a decade since this team has scored over one hundred points in a game.

UTSA came out calm, cool, and relaxed and went toe to toe early on against the Huskers and did not let up until the very end. While Nebraska kept the lead through most of the game the Road Runners kept their high scoring offense with the foot on the gas and fought the Huskers for the lead throughout the final 13 minutes. It was only in the final four minutes of the night when Nebraska took control and pulled away with the 10 point win.
