Nebraska Baseball Spoils Chances, Falls To Creighton 5-2

Huskers have lost 3 of their last 4 games overall

Nebraska fell behind early and was unable to complete the comeback on Tuesday night, falling to the Creighton Bluejays by the final score of 5-2. Matt Waldron took the loss, while the Husker offense fell flat.

After going quickly in the first, Creighton struck for a run when Isaac Collins walked on four pitches, stole second, and scored on a Michael Emodi single.

Creighton got another pair of runs in the third. The Jays loaded the bases when Collins singled, Emodi singled, and Will Robertson was hit by a pitch. An error on Angelo Altavilla on a potential double play ball scored a run, while another scored on a fielders choice which turned into a double play.
