Nebraska Baseball Shuts Out Creighton 4-0 Wednesday Night

Huskers take season series, helps RPI

The Nebraska Baseball team defeated the Creighton Bluejays by a score of 3-0 Wednesday night, clinching the season series between the two teams. Ethan Frazier and the bullpen combined to shutout the Jays, while Luke Roskam had a pair of runs batted in to lead the offense.

Nebraska threatened in both the first and second, but stranded a pair of runners in each inning. Frazier was sharp early, facing the minimum through the first three innings.

In the third, the Huskers broke through. Angelo Altavilla walked to start the inning, and was followed by a Scott Schreiber single to push Altavilla to third. After Ben Miller flied out, Altavila would score on a fielder’s choice from Roskam.
