Nebraska Baseball Picks Up 20th Win of 2017, Defeat Kansas State 6-1

Ben Miller has big night as Husker sweep the season set from the Wildcats

The Nebraska Baseball team picked up another midweek victory, defeating the Kansas State Wildcats 6-1 Tuesday night in Manhattan. Ben Miller had a big game for the Huskers, pitching three innings and lacing a pair of doubles.

Miller and the Huskers fell behind early when the Wildcats picked up their only run of the night in the first. After allowing a Cameron Thompson two out walk, Jake Scudder would double plating Thompson.

After stranding a double from Miller in the second, the Huskers would not threaten until the fourth inning. Jake Meyers would reach on an infield single, advance to second on a Miller groundout and score when Luis Alvarado singled back up the middle with two outs. After Luke Roskam reached on an error, Mike Waldron would strike out to end the threat.
