"I just wanted to make sure that everybody was a little salty going into that game," Zatechka said.

It worked. Nebraska beat the No. 2-ranked Buffs 24-7 and jumped Penn State — Matt Rhule's Penn State squad — in the polls en route to Tom Osborne's first national title.
