Minnesota Game Outcomes and Reactions – What are your thoughts on the probabilities?

A Michigan fan in this week’s predictions thread on /r/CFB have these four outcomes (slightly rephrased/expanded by me) as how they view the possible outcomes and their reactions in the fanbase from the Minnesota game. /u/GGoodman09 responded assigning probabilities to each and some thoughts and I liked that format. I was wondering where others stand

For reference the spread is set a Nebraska -3.5.

—-

1. **Nebraska wins and covers the spread** – the close games and sometimes intangible improvements show up in a game that is harder than our OOC and Northwestern; Frost seems firmly off the hot seat with most of the fanbase as some of the changes materialize into wins

2. **Nebraska wins and fails to cover** – at the end of an eight game stretch, Frost’s team squeaks out a conference win but it’s another nail biter; some fire remains under Frost but serves as a balm to other parts of the fanbase, debate rages about the quality of Minnesota

3. **Nebraska loses another close game** – close game woes continue to haunt Frost as do the road and P5 statistics, perhaps with some let down from the recent heartbreaks; a bowl game now seems firmly out of reach, improvements are there but they remain nebulous and Frost’s record continues to slip heating up his seat in a more real way but not fully

4. **Nebraska loses and the wheels come off** – coming into their eighth game in eight weeks and having a physical game against Michigan the week prior, the heartbreaks and season seem to pile onto the team’s psyche; bowl game now appears impossible with none of the progress from the earlier games manifesting, Frost’s seat feels hot to people it has not previously
