LPS Task Force Investigating Lincoln High School Needs

A newly formed Lincoln Public Schools task force is going to investigate community priorities for serving high school students.

LPS Associate Superintendent for Business Affairs Liz Standish tells KLIN News that the school district is in its eighth straight year of gaining more than 850 students a year and they would expect to grow around 950 students this year.

Standish says the task force, comprised of LPS educators and citizens, will be investigating how the district can most effectively serve a growing number of high school students.
The group will make recommendations to the superintendent by May 2018.
