Legit discussion question. Would you support Nebraska going fbs independent if…

they got to play Oklahoma every year, along with at least one or two every year from the old big 12/big 8 and at least one or maybe two g5 texas or fcs texas teams every year? And also (and I feel like this is asking for way too much) they had gentlemanly agreements with the other fbs independents to schedule NU as often as they could, home and aways consistently with a one or two year gap.

I don’t think the other conferences would put up with Nebraska trying to pull that off, but if NU could guarantee to get the above things every year, and the program still generated all the money and support from fans it usually does, man I think that would be awesome. I know losing the big ten money would be a hit, but the department still makes more money than most other programs.

I know this is pie in the sky, but fuck it, a fan can dream. GBR!
