Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Steps-Up Deputy Presence For “Click It or Tick It” Campaign

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Offics says in a statement they are taking part in the statewide “Click It or Ticket” campaign, which is designed to ensure travelers are following Nebraska safety laws.

The Sheriff’s department says From 3PM to 8PM there will be a checkpoint on Highway 77 just north of Highway 33 where officers will select cars in “systematic fashion”. Deputies will be analyzing checked cars to make sure safety equipment is working properly, proper documentation is in the vehicle and all passangers are buckled up.

Then From 8PM to 1AM Deputies will continue efforts through an increased presence in the city.
