James Palmer Jr. Named Co-Big Ten Player Of The Week

James Palmer Jr. was named Co-Player of the Week in the Big Ten along with Purdue’s Carsen Edwards. Palmer, hit a last second buzzer beater in a victory over Illinois on Monday night in Lincoln, and followed up his winning performance with a standout effort against Michigan.

Against the Illini, Palmer had 24 points on 10-19 shooting, while adding four rebounds, and a pair of steals. Palmer kept the Huskers in the game, falling one point shy of his season high against UTSA. After the Huskers fell behind on a four point play, Palmer would win the game for the Huskers by hitting an off balance three.
