Watched Sean Callahan’s great breakdown of practice yesterday [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1MCxQGV5ms&ab_channel=HuskerOnlineVideo). Was alarmed to hear him say that Heinrich Harbaugh could be pushing Smothers for the #2 job at QB….as a true freshman….from Kearney….whose only game experience is in class C NE football. Sam Mckewon seems to have similar ideas [here](https://twitter.com/swmckewonOWH/status/1383553451175538691?s=20), suggesting we might have to go the portal route to find somebody to step in when Adrian leaves. Yikes. Just yikes. Expecting a guy to come out of the portal and know the offense well enough to start for us….uhh. Maybe I’m overreacting, it’s early. But those of you that are on the “Verduzco actually sucks” bandwagon, this might be something to keep an eye on.
