The Creighton men’s basketball team lost a one point game to Kansas last night on a last second missed free throw in Lawrence, Kansas.
To be honest, I like many others, assumed that KU was struggling this year from their previous games. They have relied upon the small ball for the most part but is out of their realm in previous years. I expected Creighton to win.
However, that was not the case and the Bluejays will take on our beloved Cornhuskers this Friday with one loss.
It will be a big game. Nebraska has not played a team this season with the talent level that Creighton has. They will be tested in a way that should tell us how the season will go.
Creighton has bested us for the most part of this decade. Hopefully Nebraska has a team that can go toe to toe with the school form Omaha.
If Nebraska wins, they will have knocked off a top ten caliber team.
If Nebraska loses, there will be more work at practice before the conference slate begins.
Big game on Friday. Really big game…
