In-state lineman invited to season opener

An in-state offensive lineman has received a game-day invite from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Ty Tessendorf is a class of 2027 prospect for Blair High School in Blair, NE.

Tessendorf was invited to the season opener on August 31, when the Huskers host the UTEP Miners. Kickoff will take place at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Over the summer, the lineman attended Coach Matt Rhule’s Football Camp. Nebraska’s Director of Football Advancement, Chris Coulter, invited the offensive lineman to the game.

The Cornhusker’s class of 2027 currently holds no commitments, as the coaching staff is focused on building the class of 2026 and finishing the class of 2025.
