If the B1G were actually against Nebraska in someway… why?

Maybe most fanbases argue that the refs are against their team or they got unfair scheduling, but it does seem like we point a lot to the B1G not liking Nebraska from the teams we have been scheduled against to the way referees call game.

If we go with the argument that there is some truth to an anti-Nebraska element (conspiracy?) in the B1G, then what is the reasoning for this? What did we do to deserve it?

If such a thread ever ran through the Big XII, I could at least point to a few things: in the beginning we were the top team and we seemed to be the lone dissenting voice in conference voting decisions; in the end, we had a more hot headed coach, who refs may have dreaded working with, and we were also on our way out of the conference.

Other than being "the new guy" for a few seasons, I dont know what we have done to earn this in the B1G (provided an argument can be made).

For clarification, I am not saying it is the case. I am wondering what would lead someone to think that in the first place.
