Nebraska plays its final home series of the season, as the Huskers host Penn State for a three-game series this weekend at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.
 
Friday’ series opener is set for 6:05 p.m., while Saturday’s first pitch is scheduled for 6:02 p.m. on BTN. The series finale between the Huskers and Nittany Lions is set for 11:02 a.m. on ESPN2 on Sunday.
 
The series opener on Friday can be seen on B1G+, while Kevin Kugler and Jeff Leise will have the call on BTN on Saturday night. Clay Matvick and Mike Rooney will call the action in Sunday’s series finale on ESPN2.
 
Fans can also listen to Greg Sharpe and Ben McLaughlin call the action this weekend on the Huskers Radio Network, which can be heard on KLIN (1400 AM, 99.3 FM) in Lincoln and KXSP (590 AM) in Omaha. Every game this season can be heard for free on Huskers.com and the Official Nebraska Huskers App for both iOS and android devices.
 
Nebraska vs. Penn State
• Since joining the Big Ten in 2012, Nebraska holds a dominant 14-2 advantage in 16 all-time meetings against Penn State.
• The Huskers are 5-1 in the series in games played in Lincoln. The Big Red haven’t played the Nittany Lions in a home series since 2016.
• Nebraska enters the weekend riding an eight-game win streak over Penn State, dating back to the series opener in University Park in 2017.
 
Matthews Chasing Rare 20-20 Club
• With 19 home runs and 19 stolen bases, Brice Matthews is inching closer to becoming the first player in program history to hit 20 homers and steal 20 bases in a season.
• On a national scale going back to at least 2011, six players have reached the 20-20 club, including two in the regular-season.
