Huskers premature in the QB transfer race?

As we all know, Nebraska brought in two of the more highly sought after QBs in the early part of the portal transfer rodeo. Casey Thompson from Texas and Chubba Purdy from Florida State are both coming to Lincoln.

Should Nebraska have been a little more patient? Word is out that ASU QB Jayden Daniels is exploring his options in the transfer portal. He was the first true freshman to start a season opener at the school. In his first season he threw for 2900+ yards, 17 TDs, and only two interceptions. Daniels is leaving ASU because of shakeups in the coaching staff in the wake of alleged nefarious recruiting during the C19 dead period.

Other QBs are likely to look to greener pastures after spring practice is over. Should Nebraska have waited before bringing in two transfer QBs?

When was the last time Nebraska had a starting QB with only two interceptions? It seems like every QB in recent memory has been a bit of a turnover machine.
