Nebraska continues Big Ten play this weekend, as the Huskers welcome Minnesota to Hawks Field at Haymarket Park for a three-game series.

Friday’s series opener is set for 7:02 p.m., while Saturday’s first pitch is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. The series finale between the Huskers and Golden Gophers is set for 1:05 p.m. on Sunday.

Friday’s game will be broadcast live on BTN, with Larry Punteney and Jeff Leise on the call. Saturday and Sunday’s games can be seen on B1G+, while fans can also listen to Greg Sharpe and Ben McLaughlin call the action this weekend on the Huskers Radio Network. Nebraska vs. Minnesota

• Through 67 all-time meetings, the Huskers hold a 35-31-1 advantage over the Golden Gophers in the all-time series.

• Nebraska is 21-9 against Minnesota since joining the Big Ten in 2012.

• The Huskers are 10-3 in games against the Golden Gophers at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park, most recently recording a four-game sweep in the 2021 season.

• Minnesota won the final two games in last year’s series in Minneapolis to capture the series win after the Big Red posted a 12-5 win in the series opener.

Brice Matthews is one of three players nationally with at least 15 home runs and 15 stolen bases this season.

• Nebraska sits ninth nationally with a .981 fielding percentage, which is on pace to contend for the school-record mark of .981 set in 2013.
