Huskers Host Big Red Fall Classic, More Is Possible Rally

The Nebraska softball team is set to host the Big Red Fall Classic this Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 8-9. Admission is free to all games this weekend and there will also be a free More Is Possible Rally before Saturday’s doubleheader. 
 
The Huskers will take on Colorado State in a doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game starting at 12:30 p.m. The second game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. 
 
On Sunday, NU will take on CSU at 10 a.m. at Bowlin Stadium. Omaha and Colorado State will face each other at 12:30. Nebraska will finish the weekend with a game against the Mavericks at 3 p.m. 
 
Prior to the start of game one on Saturday, NU will host the More is Possible Rally as part of a year-long initiative to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Title IX. The rally is set to start at 10:30 a.m. and run until 12:30 p.m. It will take place at Haymarket Park in the areas surrounding Bowlin Stadium. Attendees are then encouraged to stick around for complimentary admission into Nebraska’s fall softball game against Colorado State following the rally. ADA parking will be available in Lot 20. 
 
The More is Possible Rally will celebrate excellence in women’s athletics by bringing fans together with student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 
 
Each of Nebraska’s women’s teams will be represented at the free event by either current student-athletes, alumni or members of the coaching staff. Participants will receive a passport booklet to use as they walk from station to station and visit each women’s team. Attendees of the rally will have the chance to engage with student-athletes, learn more about the history and rules of each sport and participate in a sport-specific activity for the chance to win a prize. Attendees will have the chance to win a free More Is Possible T-shirt, courtesy of Adidas, who is sponsoring the rally, while supplies last. 
 
Complimentary Pepsi products will be provided to all rally attendees on Saturday. Chick-Fil-A will be onsite as well as a Fanatics merchandise pop-up tent. The More is Possible Rally is a free event for all ages, but registration is required to be eligible for the free Pepsi products and free t-shirts while supplies last.
