Nebraska wraps up its regular-season with a three-game series on the road at Purdue on Thursday-Saturday May 18-20 in West Lafayette, Ind.

Thursday’s series opener is set for 5 p.m. CT, while Friday’s first pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT. The series finale between the Huskers and Boilermakers is set for 1 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Nebraska vs. Purdue

• Nebraska holds a 17-10 advantage over Purdue in the all-time series, including a 15-5 record against the Boilermakers as Big Ten foes.

• The Huskers have made two trips to West Lafayette since joining the Big Ten and hold a perfect 6-0 record against Purdue on the road.

• The Big Red recorded series sweeps in West Lafayette against the Boilermakers in 2013 and 2016.

Matthews Chasing Rare 20-20 Club

• With 20 home runs and 19 stolen bases, Brice Matthews is inching closer to becoming the first player in program history to hit 20 homers and steal 20 bases in a season.

• On a national scale going back to at least 2011, six players have reached the 20-20 club, including two in the regular-season.

Anderson in Elite Company

• Through May 16, Max Anderson is one of three players nationally hitting at least .400 at the plate with 19-plus home runs and 65 or more RBI this season, joining Georgia’s Charlie Condron and Fairfield’s Charlie Pagliarini.

Offensive Outburst Against Big Ten Foes

• Since joining the Big Ten in 2012, Nebraska has scored 30-plus runs in a three-game conference series nine times, including three times this season.

• The Big Red have totaled its second, third and fourth-most series totals this season while scoring 8.3 runs per game through the first 21 Big Ten contests.
