Husker News: The Olympics are Over, but at Least We Will Have Football Soon


The Olympics were fun to watch, weren’t they? Our every-four-year willingness to watch synchronized diving, gymnastics, and swimming saw a lot of success for Team USA. It also brought a lot of memorable moments outside of the medal ceremonies and close finishes.

The article below highlights some of those moments. If you could give an award to an Olympic athlete, spectator, or coach, what would it be?

I think I’d give an award for ‘best casting’ to whomever decided Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg needed to hang out for a few days. That was brilliant (and fun)!
