The Friday night volleyball match with Purdue did not disappoint! It was a clash of defensive titans with Purdue matching, and at times outplaying, the Huskers on the defensive side of the ball. The Boiler block was on point, but our beloved Huskers found a way.
Now, the current #1 team in D1 volleyball, the Pitt Panthers, were beaten by the same upstart SMU team that handed Nebraska their only loss. Of course, Pitt and SMU went five sets while Nebraska was swept by the Mustangs.
I still suspect Nebraska might snag enough #1 votes to move ahead of Pitt in the next poll. What do you think?
