Husker Hitters Fall To Oregon State 10-3

Jake McSteen goes down with elbow injury in loss

After a gritty comeback win Friday night, Nebraska fell flat losing their fourth consecutive game to the Beavers in the past two seasons. After falling 9-1 on Thursday, the Huskers were routed 10-3 against the Beavers.

Oregon State jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first two innings and never looked back. Trevor Larnach hit a two run home run in the first to give the Beavers the lead. In the second four more singles and an error on what would have been the third out of the inning plated three more runs.

Scott Schreiber scored in the fourth when he singled, moved to third on a Luke Roskam single and then scored on a Jaxon Hallmark sacrifice fly to cut the lead to four.
