Husker Freshman Wide Receiver/Running back Wan’Dale Robinson Cited for Possession of Marijuana

According to a UNL spokesperson, Nebraska freshman wide receiver/running back Wan’Dale Robinson was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana Sunday night around 11:30 p.m, KLIN confirmed. It is Robinson’s first offense and is categorized as an infraction.

UNL police first noticed the smell of marijuana coming from Robinson’s dorm room, however the marijuana was actually found in Robinson’s vehicle.

In a statement, the University of Nebraska Athletic Department said “we are aware of the situation and are addressing it.”

Robinson will have a court appearance on July 9th. He’s the second player to be cited for a marijuana related offense this month, along with running back Maurice Washington, who was cited on June 4th.
