Husker Football Wins vs Expected

Last week, [CFBNumbers](https://twitter.com/CFBNumbers) on Twitter wrote a great [article](https://cfbnumbers.substack.com/p/a-numbers-nightmare-the-tragedy-of) about the 2021 Nebraska season. In it he outlined how Nebraska set a CFP era record for most wins below expectation using post game win probability. He also used that to simulate our record 5000 times and 3-9 only happened twice. I wanted to look a little further at that and see how well Nebraska had done from 2014-2020 as well. 2021 wasn’t the first time the Huskers, or Scott Frost, set the low mark for wins below expectation across college football. With a full-time special teams coach in 2022, there’s nowhere to go but up for Nebraska football.
