No. 48 Kai Wallin
6-5, 250 • Sophomore • Defensive lineman
After playing a junior college season as a 17-year-old, Wallin redshirted at Nebraska last season.
Wallin played 35 snaps across the Huskers’ first four games of the season — recording a tackle against Colorado — before NU coaches opted to end his season and preserve a year of eligibility.
Nebraska rotates heavily along the defensive line — seven different Huskers played 100 or more snaps up front last season — and Wallin will be a key part of that rotation this fall.

The sophomore will look to make an impact as a pass rusher and run stopper off the edge.
