Singleton will aim to provide a bigger contribution in his second year at Nebraska.
The junior college transfer played just 70 snaps as a rotational safety option a year ago but remains firmly in the mix for increased playing time.
An important special teams contributor, Singleton may continue in that role. But can Nebraska utilize one of its biggest, most physical defensive backs?
The 3-3-5 scheme will result in additional snaps for the Husker safeties, and Singleton could be a beneficiary. He worked closely with his position coach, Evan Cooper, this spring to get closer to that goal.
