No. 37 Rahmir Johnson
5-10, 185 • Senior • Running back
Johnson figured to be part of the running back rotation a year ago before injuries — as they did for so many skill position Huskers — had other plans.
Johnson’s season ended after he dislocated his shoulder against Northern Illinois in Week 3. He had been Nebraska’s primary kick returner, setting up the Huskers’ only touchdown in Week 1 against Minnesota with a 63-yard return to begin the second half.
The running back room has become crowded with the returns of Johnson and Gabe Ervin, along with Emmett Johnson’s emergence last season and the arrival of Dante Dowdell from Oregon.
