No. 32 Gabe Ervin
6-0, 220 • Junior • Running back
Ervin has been a productive running back when he gets on the field. The problem is he’s yet to play a full season of college football with a clean bill of health.
After being named the Huskers’ No. 1 tailback in the preseason, Ervin played in three games and rushed for 138 yards last season before a hip injury ended his season in 2023. A torn ACL sidelined him in 2021.
He returns to what has become a wide-open running back room. Rahmir Johnson is also back from injury. Emmett Johnson was solid after being forced onto the field and Dante Dowdell transferred in from Oregon.
