How to watch Nebraska football vs. Northern Iowa

Nebraska football looks to finish nonconference play undefeated in a game against Northern Iowa this week.

The No. 23 Huskers will face off against the FCS squad on Saturday at 6:30 p.m., the game broadcasted by the Big Ten Network. It’s the second of three straight night games for Nebraska, sandwiched between last week’s win over Colorado and next week’s Big Ten opener against Illinois.

The National Weather Service forecast projects Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 85 degrees and southeast winds of 3-7 mph.

Nebraska has started the season 2-0 for the first time since 2016, opening with decisive wins over UTEP and Colorado. Those efforts have been rewarded with a top-25 ranking. The Huskers will be expected to win this matchup handily as well.

Northern Iowa has also started the year 2-0 with wins over Valparaiso and St. Thomas. The Panthers are no slouch in the FCS, currently ranked No. 21 in the subdivision. They lost to Iowa State 30-9 in their lone game against an FBS opponent in 2023.
