Frosted Flakes: What A Lousy National Title Game (Kind of)

Was it enjoyable? Yes. It was enjoyable.

What an unexpected shock to end football season. Alabama looked lost after the first quarter, even though at that point the game was still close with Clemson clinging to a 14-13 lead.

When I say it was a lousy game, I don’t mean that it was unenjoyable. Watching the Crimson Tide wander around waiting for the end to come was very enjoyable. The unbelievably bad fake field goal call was the icing on the cake.

Tua Tagovailoa was as ineffective as Trevor Lawrence was masterful. After hearing about Tua’s greatness all year, it was Lawrence who looked like a 10-year NFL veteran. It’s hard to think Clemson won’t be back in the same game next year with him at the helm.
