Frosted Flakes: Shared Gold and Tearing Up

Some of you may be sick of hearing about the Olympics. Sorry, but I’m not. You’re going to have to hear about them a little more.

I wanted to share some of my favorite moments so far.

One of them was the high jumpers from Qatar and Italy who chose to share the gold medal, instead of having a tie breaker.

Some of my other favorite moments were all of the exciting swimming races, like both the men’s and women’s medley relays and Bobby Fink in the 800m Freestyle. But what I loved even more was Katie Ledecky and Caleb Dressel both getting teary eyed after winning their races. I was nearly crying. I was just so proud of them. I can’t imagine how their families were feeling.

I also loved all of the support that the women’s gymnastics team gave each other. And that Makayla Skinner was able to get her Olympic medal. All of the medals for the rest of the team were amazing too. I just love that she thought she was done and got one more chance and was able to accomplish a life long dream.

Next week, I’ll be done talking about the Olympics.

Maybe.

Now onto your flakes.
