Frosted Flakes: RIP Alex Trebek, Mail a Child, and 14 Sons

Nerdy people like me who grew up in a very small town, don’t often find ‘their people’. I liked trivia and knowledge and appreciated people who could make knowing stuff seem cool.

Don’t get me wrong, there were many smart people and knowledgeable people in the town where I grew up. My weirdness came from having an interest in EVERYTHING. Okay, I didn’t give a rat’s ass about pop culture or famous singers, but I was on a mission to accumulate knowledge about all things that I felt were important.

Alex Trebek and Jeopardy! contestants were my people.

RIP Mr. Trebek.
