We have now reached August – when Husker football kicks off vs Illinois. Are you excited? I think I am.
I entered last season with very little enthusiasm or interest. I don’t know if it was the realization that Nebraska would probably be a crappy team again or just pandemic world making everything less fun in general.
Either way, I’m feeling a bit more excited to see the Huskers this year. I don’t have any idea if we will see some better football or not. I hope we do.
Maybe the Olympics have made it more exciting this summer – priming the sports watching pump so to speak?
