Another weekend of Husker football is in the books. Remember when we were so excited to see the Huskers play – even though we sorta figured it would be a rough season?
Those were the good old days.
As you read this, I am waiting for Ranchhand 3 to finish an MRI for his back. I have a pretty strong suspicion of what the results will be, but hopefully I am wrong. The poor kid doesn’t need to have “old people” back problems at 14.
Back when we thought it was a fracture in one of the vertebrae, that sounded scary. The fracture has been ruled out, but this sound like a much more chronic and painful issue. The fracture would have healed within a few weeks.
We are now realizing he probably has a much longer road to recovery than we could have imagined.
Sort of like Husker football.
