I survived my semester as both a student and teacher. I had an awesome class of students (local community college) and got to return to my animal science roots. I only got to cover about half the material I wanted (I knew I was overly ambitious for a 2-credit class) and was pretty awkward at times (as a new teacher) in how I structured things, but the students handled everything really well. I only had one student fall off a chair because he fell asleep in class.
