We’ve had our first real snow of the season. It came at a perfect time (sarcasm) as we are trying to get the fence put up around the cornstalks so we don’t have to feed cows. It also came with a cracked water fountain that is causing the water to run constantly. That is on the to-do list for fixing or replacing this week.
If you couldn’t already tell, I am a summer person. I am pretty determined that I’m going to live somewhere tropical before I die.
If I live long enough, climate change might bring the tropics to me right here in Nebraska!
Our beloved Huskers opened conference play with a resounding loss. I know the score doesn’t look like Nebraska has made progress, but it really felt like the team looks better than last year. Both lines held their own – for the most part. They weren’t spectacular, but solid. That is a huge improvement. No one seemed to be able to tackle Justin Fields, but there won’t be many players who manage that consistently in this entire season.
If only the untimely penalties (I’m not talking about the BS ones) and turnovers could go away…
