Frosted Flakes: Down Time

We are heading into an interesting time of the sporting year. The NCAA tournament & NCAA hockey championship are over. We are in the middle of college baseball season. The NHL & NBA playoffs are getting ready to start up and the MLB season is still in it’s infancy.

So, unless your team is going to make the playoffs or are a hardcore baseball fan that goes the distance it’s kind of the start of some down time for many of us.

Pretty soon we will just be down to baseball and then before you know it fall practice starts and we are well on our way towards the fall sports and we start this crazy mess all over again. I say that because I’ve come to feel that the “sports season” starts in late summer and goes through early spring. No real reason other than that’s when football starts and being a Nebraskan, that’s kind of when everything picks up for us. What can I say, I am a product of my environment.
