Frosted Flakes: A Super Bowl Win for a City Swimming in Crisco

There’s a lot of processed fat flowing in the City of Brotherly Love

Last night was the end of football for most of us until August 25th when the college football season officially starts (FYI – Wyoming vs. New Mexico State might be fun). Until then we have the Winter Olympics in South Korea, The NCAA Basketball Tournament, and both the NHL and NBA championships.

In other words, there is plenty on the horizon for us to look forward to. No matter what sport you root for.

But back to last night. The Philadelphia Eagles won the first Super Bowl last night and their first NFL Championship since 1960. A huge win against one of the biggest dynasties in sports. Whether you like them or not, the Patriots have become one of the most formidable programs in history. A win against them is nothing to sneeze at.
