Frost, Patience and Fans

As he sits at 10-18 halfway through year three, what will it take for fans and the media to run out of patience with Frost? I think it is hard to view the vast majority of Husker media as not avid fans of the program. But my question is why there is the calls for patience and understanding and “this will get turned around”? Would any other coach get this treatment?

What has been the underlying “progress” that we have supposedly seen that leads us to believe this experiment should continue? By the stats, the offensive guru’s offense has tended down every single year.

Since Frost took over:

**Big Ten Offensive ranks:**

Total Yards – 10th (2020), 5th (2019), 2nd (2018)

Scoring – 13th, 7th, 6th

**Big Ten Defensive ranks:**

Total Yards – 12th, 10th, 12th

Scoring – 9th, 11th, 12th

**CFB Offense Ranks:**

Total Yards – 83rd, 55th, 26th

Scoring – 107th, 72nd, 58th

Turnovers – 118th, 111th, 102nd

Penalty Yards – 94th, 18th, 116th

**CFB Defense Ranks:**

Total Yards – 98th, 64th, 94th

Scoring – 93rd, 67th, 88th

Turnovers – 86th, 20th, 43rd
