Friday Flakes: Which Nebraska Football Kickoff Time Do You Prefer?

After Nebraska and the Big Ten released some of the kickoff times for the upcoming 2021 season there was a discussion among the Corn Nation staff about which kickoff times we prefer. It definitely was not unanimous.

Some cared about what the players preferred or having to set an alarm clock. There were mentions of not being able to drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.

It is my personal preference that if I am going to watch the game on TV that it is either at 11 a.m. or 7 p.m.

If I am going to the game then I want it at 7 p.m.

The least ideal timeslot to both watch or attend a Nebraska football game is at 2:30. For whatever reason it sucks up almost your entire day.

So what times do you prefer? Vote below in the poll. I’m giving three options. 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

I’m aware that there are noon kickoffs and 6:00 p.m. kickoffs or sometimes 9 p.m. kickoffs but for simplicity’s sake we are going with those three.

Tuioti’s contract update includes raise
It didn’t seem of pressing matter in February that Nebraska defensive line coach Tony Tuioti was the one assistant who didn’t yet have his contract extended through 2022. It was just awaiting a signature, it was said by an NU official at the time. No worries at all now for those optimistic about what the D-line is doing with Tuioti leading it.
