Friday Flakes: Michigan State is a Statement Game and Turkey at Thanksgiving Dinner

American’s should get rid of the Turkey. It is as simple as that.

So far this season, Nebraska’s wins are against Minnesota, Bethune-Cookman and Illinois.

If Nebraska wants to put the Big Ten on notice, then it needs to win the next two games. If Nebraska were to go 1-1 or 0-2 over the next two games then that won’t be enough in my opinion to tell those outside of this state that Nebraska is on it’s way back.

Nebraska started 0-6. They now have the opportunity to go 5-1 in their last six games. The second half of the season was considered by most to be the hardest part of the schedule. That opportunity is right in front of them.
