Friday Flakes: Matt Rhule Believes Nebraska Football Has Some “Secrets” for Opponents this Fall Huskers News

A part of developing a football team is building depth and according to Matt Rhule, he believes that there is more talent on this team than when he was hired and that it is beginning to go multiple layers deep.

There apparently are some good players that we don’t even realize.

At Big Ten Media Days he said the following, “Within our walls…we’ve got a bunch of guys that can really play. We have a bunch of guys we think are secrets.”

Who do you think those players could be?

I have a few guesses but that might have to be an article in itself.

Track with me a moment even if you haven’t had a video game console since the old Nintendo and believe Mike Tyson’s Punchout was the greatest piece of gaming magic this world will ever see.

Because on Wednesday at Big Ten Media Days, Matt Rhule used the video game that has been such a consuming topic this summer – College Football 25 – as a current events reference to make a point about his Husker football team in 2024.
