Add Tanner Terch to another list of the type of kids Matt Rhule and his coaching staff are going for in that they are underrecruited and that they fit a certain mold. That mold generally revolves around speed and explosiveness.
The coaching staff feel that they cannot teach speed but they can develop kids with speed into good football players.
In this case, Tanner Terch is a 3-star wide receiver/defensive back from Littleton, CO.
The interesting fact is that neither Colorado State or Colorado gave Terch much of a look. In fact, it appears Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes do not appear interested in recruiting kids from Colorado out of high school.
So teams like Nebraska who actually know what they are looking for are apparently taking advantage.
Prior to Terch, Nebraska took two Colorado kids in the 2024 class and one in the 2023 class.
Yes, Colorado fans will come in and say that he wasn’t good enough for Deion Sanders at Colorado. At this point, do you think Sanders is trying to run the program for the long term?

Matt Rhule is becoming known for grabbing great athletes and finding a home for them on the field. Tanner Terch could play several positions for Nebraska. It seems he is destined to start his career on defense, but the Huskers are keeping the door open to offense and he would like a shot on special teams. Terch is the seventh known commitment for Nebraska in the 2025 class.

Chicago Cubs reliever Luke Little said he had to change his glove before he entered Wednesday night’s 4-3 victory over the Houston Astros because of an American flag patch.
Manager Craig Counsell went to insert Little with one out in the seventh inning. But as the 6-foot-8 left-hander went through the usual check by umpires for pitchers coming into the game, he was told he had to swap out his glove.
