Unless I learn otherwise, it appears to me that McMurphy’s sources from his report published on Wednesday on the NCAA investigation want Scott Frost gone.
I would not be surprised if those sources were the same as the ones who leaked the stuff during Bo Pelini’s era.
My suggestion is that Frost put his head down and go win.
Putting together a successful season, however that may be, would be the perfect metaphorical middle finger to whoever wants him gone.
I am so on board for that to happen. These sources have been a rot building in the program for well over a decade.
Screw em.
Here is the fricken flakes.

A Well Fixer’s Story of the California Drought – The Atlantic
The well fixer and I were standing at the edge of an almond orchard in the exhausted middle of California. It was late July, and so many wells on the farms of Madera County were coming up dry that he was running out of parts to fix them. In this latest round of western drought, desperate voices were calling him at six in the morning and again at midnight. They were puzzled why their pumps were coughing up sand, the water’s flow to their orchards now a trickle.
